For too long the people have been waiting for a Utopian leadership of their beloved Boxwars. For too long we've ideally sat by and done nothing to oppose opposition itself.
We've watch the Boxwars council with swanky walks, and irresistibly good looks. But in recent times they've grown fat on the fruits of extremely hard labor. We gather in troubled times to confront the Boxwars council with protest and let them hear our cries of content dissatisfaction. We will march upon the Boxwars Corporate HQ where we will make them pay for there misguided genius. Gather your signs of protest don your cardboard suits of war.
This day will be a day. And this day will also be a day of protest for the common mans plight at been mediocre . Then after this day, it will be a day of remembrance. The day after that day, it will be Wednesday.

The date we gather is BOXING DAY, Monday 26th December 2011 @ CAULFILED PARK. see map. The theme is rebellion. This means we want you to make your signs of protest, emblazoned with your spitefully cheerful remarks on why Boxwars should be protested against. We encourage you to build your most fantastical cardboard armor yet.....and for those that have never competed in boxwars.....build something better than you would if you where going to builld without a prior reading of this sentence. Remember this will be the BIGGEST Boxwars yet....therefore the eyes of the world are apon us! LETS DO IT AWESOME STYLE!!

All participants MUST report to the sign in table at the event before entering the battle. You are encouraged to obtain recycled cardboard for your suits (think about the environment before been destructive). Costume are paint free. Materials for adhesive is strictly; tape, hot glue and liquid nails. NO zip ties, rivets, staples, etc. We also request you do not use tape over excessively. Please remember to take home all your rubbish from this event. Thankyou in advance.
Please note, participants must be over 18y.o+ to participate in this event. 15+ may participate with a legal guardians signature, this can be provided on the day. *****THIS EVENT IS ABSOLUTELY FREE ENTRY*******

The 'Drop Your Guard' music video production was a collaborative work by the fantastically brilliant band Metals (Christopher Coe, Candice Butler) and the undeniable awesomeness of Boxwars (Boxwars Council). Ewan Macleodfrom KROZM. Boxwars provided art direction by sculpting some rock pose inducing instruments, and sexual preferentialating costumes. We'll let the video do the talking...

Content Update, 26th June 2010

The Boxwars Dictionary has found a home on the site at last. Future warriors can now verse and emerse themselves in Boxwar lore in preparation for battle. We are pleased to mention Boxwars.net now has a media page for all videos. Also we've uploaded many of our previously unreleased photos, added to our battles database. Plus many many more updates, have a look around.

Boxwars was catapulted into the heliosphere Easter 2010, with Boogie 4 "SPACE RACE". The Astronauts from the U.S.A and the Cosmonauts from the U.S.S.R squared off in a final bid to prove the superior space faring populist and...non populist nation.
