"Disturbingly simple and tantalisingly strange THE DEMOCRATIC SET is a rapid series of short video performance portraits. With no individual performance lasting longer than 16 seconds THE DEMOCRATIC SET is a cavalcade of portraits, soap box and drama. Presented in a purpose built film set, each performance takes place in the same egalitarian environment, the result is a visual forum, an assembly that democracy, allow people to be seen, to speak and to be heard."
